Frankfort, MI Social District Opens
Frankfort's social district (a designated outdoor refreshment area under Michigan's social district statute) is now open, with published rules and a boundary map available to the public. Michigan's social district law remains the lowest-cost corridor activation tool available to small downtowns, and adoption of it is a reasonably reliable leading indicator of a DDA's overall programming capacity.
